I am a second-generation artist living in Central Pennsylvania. My father was a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore, Maryland. I began an individual pursuit of painting after completing graduate studies in Psychology at the State University of New York in 1991. I moved to Hyannis, Massachusetts in 1993 and met with local painters there beginning with Christie Cardillo Velesig. After six years of painting on Cape Cod, I moved to Pennsylvania and began painting with John David Wissler, and George Sorrels.

I recently caught your podcast on the Savvy Painter. I really appreciated your commentary and insight. I’m a late life devotee of painting who is trying to catch up and I loved hearing your perspective. Thank you very much!
